These are the Terms of Service for the North Shore Beef Hub. We refer to ourselves as “the Hub,” “we,” or “us” throughout. The Hub is operated by Handsome Henry LLC, a Massachusetts company.

By using this site, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

Who we are

The Hub is operated by Handsome Henry LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company. Throughout these Terms, “Handsome Henry LLC,” “we,” “us,” and “the Hub” all refer to the same entity.

Beef On.™, North Shore Beef Hub™, and any related marks are trademarks of Handsome Henry LLC.

What this site is

The Hub is an editorial field guide to Beef Country, the regions north of Boston where the roast beef sandwich is part of daily life.

We document beef shops and the towns around them. We are not a directory, not an ordering platform, not an ad network, and not a review site.

Information on the site is provided for general informational and editorial purposes. Hours, menus, prices, and other details about third-party shops can change without notice. We strive for accuracy, but we are not responsible for errors in third-party information. Please contact a shop directly before visiting.

Using the site

You can use the site to read, search, and explore the Hub. By using it, you agree to:

• Use the site for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Not scrape, copy, or redistribute the Hub’s content without written permission.
• Not interfere with the site’s normal operation, security, or other visitors’ use of it.
• Not use the site to do anything illegal, harmful, deceptive, or harassing.

We reserve the right to limit or block access to anyone who does any of the above.

Listings and editorial decisions

Beef shops and other places appear on the Hub based on editorial research and local knowledge. They are not paid placements. Inclusion is not an endorsement, certification, or recommendation. It’s a record of what we found and what we think is worth knowing about.

We make editorial decisions about what to include, what to write, and how to organize the site. Those decisions are ours.

If a shop has a factual error in its listing, we’ll fix it. Just write to us. Editorial decisions (tone, framing, what we choose to highlight) remain with the Hub.

If a shop owner does not want their shop listed, we’ll remove it. Just write to us. We do not require anyone to be on the Hub against their wishes.

We may add, change, or remove listings at any time, for any reason.

If you submit something

Most of the Hub is editorial, written by us, not by visitors. But the site has a few places where you can send us something: the Contact form, the Share Your Story form, and email.

If you submit content (a message, a story, a photo, or other material), you agree that:

• The content is yours, or you have the right to share it.
• The content is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• The content does not violate anyone else’s rights or any law.
• You give us permission to read it, respond to it, and consider it for editorial use.

If we want to feature your submission, quote it, publish it, share it on social, or include it in The Beef Line, we’ll write to you first to confirm. We do not publish reader submissions without permission.

You keep ownership of anything you submit. We do not claim a license to your content beyond what is needed to read it, respond to it, and (if we ask and you agree) feature it.

What’s ours

The Hub’s editorial content (written copy, photographs, illustrations, design, structure, and the way information is organized) is owned by Handsome Henry LLC unless otherwise noted.

Beef On.™, North Shore Beef Hub™, the Hub’s logos, stamps, marks, and visual identity are trademarks of Handsome Henry LLC.

You may share links to pages on the Hub. You may not copy, reproduce, or republish substantial portions of the Hub’s content for commercial purposes without written permission. If you’d like to license something or use a quote in a publication, write to us at info@nsbeefhub.com.

Third-party platforms and links

The Hub is hosted on Webflow. Webflow processes certain technical and form data on our behalf. The Hub’s use of Webflow is described in our Privacy Policy.

We use Klaviyo to send The Beef Line, our email newsletter. We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand how the site is used.

The Hub may link to other websites: shop websites, regional resources, news articles, or partner sites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Visiting a third-party site is at your own discretion.

If something goes wrong

We do our best to keep the Hub accurate, accessible, and online. We can’t guarantee that the site will be available without interruption, error-free, or free from security issues.

The Hub is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no warranties, express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, about the site’s content, availability, or fitness for any particular purpose.

We are not responsible for outdated or incorrect information about third-party shops. Hours, menus, and other operational details change without notice. Contact a shop directly before visiting.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Handsome Henry LLC, the Hub, and anyone associated with us are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of the site.

Accessibility

We want the Hub to be usable by everyone. We design with accessibility in mind and work to meet standard web accessibility guidelines.

If you encounter an accessibility issue, something that doesn’t work with a screen reader, a contrast problem, a piece of content that’s hard to use, write to us at info@nsbeefhub.com so we can fix it.

Age

The Hub is not intended for children under the age of 13. By using the site, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old.

If you are under 18, you should use the site with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

Massachusetts law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles.

Any dispute about these Terms or the Hub will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Massachusetts. By using the site, you agree to that jurisdiction.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. When we do, we’ll change the Effective Date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we’ll announce them in The Beef Line for subscribers.

Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
