Shop Talk
Christina’s opened in 1988 on the corner of Lafayette and Leach Streets, easy to spot with its blue awning and umbrella tables. The building once housed Eaton’s Drug, a local pharmacy chain founded in the 1920s where Salem residents filled prescriptions and sat at the fountain with a soda. Owned by Peter Kioussis, Christina’s still nods to that history with photos of Eaton’s on the walls.
